OUR MISSION

The mission of the Romeo Milio Lynch Syndrome Foundation is to increase awareness about Lynch syndrome by educating the general public; to provide funding for research for Lynch syndrome and its related cancers; and to provide support to families that are affected by Lynch syndrome.

In following through with this mission RMLSF has created several funds at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The Romeo Milio Genetic Testing Fund was set up to pay for genetic testing and counseling of individuals at risk of having Lynch syndrome but who could not afford the cost. The second fund is used to aid ground-breaking research for Lynch syndrome. We are hopeful that major breakthroughs are on the horizon for Lynch syndrome related cancer research. As of March 2018 we have donated $270,000 to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for these funds.

The Romeo Milio Lynch Syndrome Foundation holds several fundraisers throughout the year, as well as speaking engagements and maintains a social media presence in order to help raise awareness of Lynch syndrome.
